Leisurely alpine pasture walks, challenging summit hikes or Bike & Hike adventures... There is something for everyone. Three summer cable cars take you comfortably up into the mountains, while the free hiking bus, with a stop just 200 metres away, connects the valley. A special highlight is the Hintertux Glacier, where snow and winter experiences await you even in the middle of summer.

You can reach the Hintertux Glacier and the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 in just a few minutes. Directly opposite the house, 14 kilometres of classic cross-country ski trails and 14 kilometres of skating trails await you. In addition, 68 kilometres of winter hiking trails and floodlit toboggan runs provide plenty of variety. The free Tux sports bus stops just 200 metres from the house and takes you conveniently to the ski areas every 10 to 20 minutes.

The Hintertux Glacier is only around 3 km from Apartments Egger in Tux. The renowned glacier area is easily reached by car or the free Tux sports bus and offers excellent skiing opportunities in winter.
The Eggalm cable car in Lanersbach, providing access to the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000, is around 4 km away. The Hintertux Glacier is approximately 3 km away. In winter, the free Tux sports bus takes you conveniently to the cable cars and ski lifts.
Tux offers far more than just skiing in winter. In addition to the Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 and the Hintertux Glacier, you can enjoy cross-country skiing, winter hiking and tobogganing. The Luggi Gredler cross-country trail, with both classic and skating tracks, runs directly opposite Apartments Egger.
